Ibis Mackay Hotel

What a fantastic place for a quick getaway! You can't beat the location, just a hop away from the airport, yet it was super quiet. The newly furnished rooms were cozy, and I loved the comfy bed with plenty of pillows. Plus, the restaurant downstairs served delicious food, and it was great to enjoy my meal in the lovely al fresco area.

Fairly clean and peaceful place, has great views of the mountains and sugar cane fields. We stay in double room quite often, it is beautifully presented and brand-new. The bathroom is great-sized, the beds are very clean, the staff are fabulously helpful. The hotel has convenient location to far away from the shops.

Double room I stayed at was fashionable with very comfortable beds. The food was fab and the bar was fab!

Entertainment was missed.

We had a wonderful stay at ibis, conveniently located right next to the airport. the check-in process was smooth, and the staff were friendly. our room was compact yet clean, offering all the essentials and a lovely view of the runway. we were grateful for the comfortable bed, which made a great overnight rest after our flight.

Our a nice size room was equipped with the basics like WiFi and blackout curtains. The continental breakfast was to die for.

The hotel was fairly clean with a GREAT restaurant. The room was neat and compact and had decent views of the mountains and sugar cane fields. The breakfast was large and there was lots of food to choose from. Everything was simply perfect.

I stayed here for a quick overnight layover and found it convenient. The check-in process was prompt, and my room was clean and well-appointed, allowing me to relax quickly after my late flight. I appreciated the comfortable bed and the great showerhead height, which is rare for taller guests like me. The bar offered some reasonably priced local rum, enhancing the welcoming atmosphere. The two pull-down blinds blocked out light effectively, ensuring a restful night’s sleep.

I had a fantastic stay at Ibis Mackay with my 3-month-old baby. The small yet cleverly designed rooms offered excellent storage, making our stay comfortable. The location was perfect for us, conveniently near the airport and quiet. The staff were helpful, and the breakfast buffet was a great value. Enjoying the lovely outdoor pool and proximity to landmarks like the Bluewater Lagoon made our trip nice for the family.

I had the worst experience with customer service; they charged my card despite me already paying. When I complained, they just stared at me blankly. I was left feeling frustrated and ignored, and it really ruined my trip.

The staff here are incredibly welcoming and provide warm and friendly service in a great location close to the city center.

Stylish and budget-friendly rooms overlooking the airport ✈️. Convenient location, but a bit far from the shops nearby. Plus, it's right next to the airport, so getting there is a breeze.

We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a lovely modern king room overlooking the airport, a nice touch, and the coffee & tea makers along with the refrigerators were in good working order.

The location of this place is perfect for catching an early morning flight, and it's conveniently close to Giraffe Stop, where you can grab some quick food.

The hotel was well-appointed and extremely pleasant with a great view. the location was convenient, close to the airport, and the interior design was modern. the attached restaurant was a good option for dinner. the dessert restaurant, the Cheesecake Factory, located 1 km away was a nice surprise.
